GROUP CLASSES


FALA BRASIL has now an address in the heart of Melbourne!

You can make the most of our classes, our Portuguese library and video sessions at a central location and immerse in our culture. Come and pretend you are in Brazil!

Classes are held at 610 St Kilda Road 8th Floor - Melbourne


Investment:

$250 per course (includes all and lots of our class material, use of Portuguese library with books and dvds, one live food class and/or video session and tea and coffee on arrival).

Group classes starting in August are Beginners 1 and Beginners 3:

(subject to confirmation of students - minimum of 5 and maximum of 8 per course)


Beginners 1 ( NOW starting on 9th August)

ON MONDAYS (6 classes) 7:15pm - 9:15pm

For people with some or no knowledge of Portuguese. Content of listening and reading, grammar, vocabulary and cultural aspects of Beginners 1 will focus on:

Personal presentation/ initiate conversation; food vocabulary; masculine, feminine/plural, pronouns and an introduction to verbs ser/estar


Beginners 3 (NOW starting 11th August)

ON WEDNESDAYS (6 classes) - 7:15pm - 9:15pm

Students that have mastered verbs ser/estar, personal and possessive pronouns. The content of listening and reading, grammar, vocabulary and cultural aspects of Beginners 3 will focus on:

Past tense of regular and irregular verbs and introduction to future tense.


Beginners 2 (demonstrate interest by email)

For people with knowledge of topics listed on Beginners 1.

Content of situations, vocabulary and cultural aspects with focus on:

Use of verbs ser/estar; physical and personal characteristics; to buy and sell; present and past of indicative verbs.


Advanced 1, 2 and 3 (demonstrate interest by email)

This course is for people that are able to talk in Portuguese fluently and have a good knowledge of verbs in the indicative and subjunctive modes.

This course will focus on verb modes, situations, literature and current affairs in Brazil as well as tourism and curiosities.
